I'm a writer and producer and have held various positions in pre and post-production departments.

I recently met with new creatives who needed work experience in the industry, however, they couldn't get work without experience and they couldn't get the experience without working in the industry.

I remember being in that position many times and realised the disconnect still remains between the industry and independent creators wanting to get their films in front of audiences. It can be nearly impossible to get that foot in the door if you don't know how to crack it open in the first place. This is where the idea for a Filmmaker's creative collective came from. With a focus on representation, the aim is to bring together and work with other creatives, to make original content and bridge the gap in the industry.

So that's me and what I love, and that's my style. I'm passionate about bringing stories to life through the medium of film and I believe in working collaboratively to create unique and engaging content that truly resonates with audiences.

A writer, filmmaker, and producer working hard to create compelling content that captivates audiences.

A child of the 80s I grew up to become a lover of Hammer Horror & old-school slasher horror. I was influenced by films by Hitchcock, John Carpenter, Stephen King, and Clive Barker. I grew up watching films like The Thing, The Lost Boys, Fright Night, Nightmare on Elm Street, Pumpkinhead,  Hellraiser, and of course all things Star Wars.

These classics set my brain on its weird writing path from a young age, and in more recent days my tastes lean toward films like the Switchblade Romance, Train to Busan, and Let the Right One In, with influences such as Guillermo del Toro, Tarantino, Wes Anderson, and Jordan Peele.

Creators at Cinema Lane Media have a keen eye for detail and are dedicated to ensuring every project looks its best.
